This family of Tettigoniids is huuuuge. Over 6400 species of these guys and gals.

Closely related to the cricket, they do eat plants, but don’t really cause enough damage to get worried about. Some species are strictly predators, eating small insects and snails and such.

I just think they are plain old cool looking.
